Toronto gang!!

Hi gals,

Mira and I met up on Sunday afternoon after twenty three years and it was like yesterday and we had the best time ever!!!
Where did all this time go...honest gals,it was like we had just left school.Mira looks the same and has a lovely home and two beautiful kids..I did not get a chance to meet Vikram as he was away on a business trip and it was well timed as he would not have had a chance to get a word in!!!(poor guy).We had so much to share and so much to talk about that even fours hours was not enuff.
Its so nice to have another friend from school and we are so fortunate to have been in school together - we are really blessed. As Dipa said in another note, the best part is that all the good ol' faces are still the same good ol' people and no one has changed. Its nice to pick up from where we left off and may it always remain the same.
Hopefully more of you will join in the blog and participate and maybe even join us in Toronto on vacation or work or heh!! you might just move here like we did!!!!!
take care everyone.
(beware - if Dipa and Roopa are together, its quite a deadly combo - they woke me up at four in the morn)

arti how about some news of meera? has she started teaching or is she completing her teaching course?

i had a wonderful stay in bombay and delhi and catching up with friends and so i know just what you mean. i'm waiting for one to surface up here in dhaka too. wishful thinking on my part i guess.

however, cal connections are never far - in shanghai there was lata menon who had been in la marts - a couple of years our senior. in paris it was soumo bose. in alex it was meera d. in b'by sango and vini and in delhi - puhlenty - abha, roopa, dolly, malini, sonia, vinita! and now in dhaka i've bumped into vivek mathur's younger brother rajat! ramesh cant understand how this happens everytime. i'm not looking into it that closely coz i'm so happy it does. settling in becomes tremendously easy.

Oh my gosh Ujj..Dipa is right the way you guys are globe-trotting you might end up in Toronto and join Meera and me in the Toronto gang!!
Yes Meera is doing great and has not started teaching full time as her course will be over this summer and she has exams coming up in the next couple of months and in the fall she will probably be teaching full time. She is happy and has settled in really well and is enjoying Toronto.
Now you all just have to visit us here and enjoy the summer.
Ujj,good you made a friend in Dhaka, small world in that you ran into Vivek's younger brother..oh my gosh we are everywhere really!!!
Dipa, you're probably getting your sanity back now that Roopa has left (on high octane too!!!!!)
take care gang.
